Soon after his initiation, Talimar arrives in Jonstown with Hendrik. A healer of Chalana Arroy comes looking for a Grey Sage: a badly wounded man is under the protection of the House of Peace, while two groups of kin are already facing each other in the street over Beren's death during a cattle raid.

The session follows Tal's first real investigation as a young Grey Sage and ends with a quiet but lasting change in the way he understands Truth.
