Spirit bag for animists?

One could even consider replacing the bets with pebbles, bones, or pieces of wood drawn from a bag containing:

  • 1/6 of objects marked with 1 spirit rune in red (the 6s, useful in case of confrontation with a mystic)
  • 2/6 of objects marked with 1 spirit rune in black (the even 2s and 4s)
  • 1/6 of objects marked with 1 green notch (the 1s)
  • 1/6 of objects marked with 2 green notches (the 3s)
  • 1/6 of objects marked with 3 green notches (the 5s)

You would need many similar objects to prevent "cheating" and also to avoid having to reshuffle each time you search for a connection. Number to plan for: 60 provides equivalent coverage to 10 bets (there are indeed 10 of each element).
