Estimated play time: about 3 hours 30 minutes — the actual session ran longer, notably because of research in the sourcebooks and out-of-game exchanges.

This session begins without a finished character. Talimar gradually emerges through the funnel, meets Hendrik, becomes his apprentice, discovers the myths and Runes that resonate with him, then plays through his initiation into Lhankor Mhy.

It ends when Tal is accepted as a young Grey Sage, with Air, Law, and Truth as the Runes he understands at this point in his life.
